SOCIAL TRADITIONS OF NEPAL

The topographical differences with diverse climatic conditions and troublesome transport and correspondence have brought about the social and social assorted qualities. The geology of a nation has a huge turn in creating assorted groups, standings, ethnic gatherings having diverse traditions, conventions and convictions. 

Individuals of distinctive races, positions, ethnic gatherings and groups, for example, Brahman, Chhetri,  Newar, Magar, Rai,  Gurung, Tamang, Limbu, Tharu,  Sherpa,Yadav,  Thakali, Rajbanshi, Dhimal and Muslim live in diverse parts of the nation. Solidarity in assorted qualities is another uniquely of the Nepalese society and custom. Individuals of diverse ethnic gatherings have there own societies, first language, celebrations, tunes, moves, dresses, traditions, customs and ceremonies. 

Althrough there is differing qualities in society, there is solidarity in conventions, social qualities and standards. For instance, we (Nepali individuals) all impart the basic custom of regarding the seniors, adoring the youngsters. We see folks and educators as God. We all welcome our visitors. We regard all the religions balance. We are constantly prepared to help one another when required. Most importantly, we cherish our country and nationhood. 

Nepal is isolated into three topographically districts. 

a)  Terai Region

b) Hill Region and 

c)  Mountains Regions. 

Diverse groups and ethnic gatherings having distinctive dialect, religions, traditions and conventions are living respectively. Every one of these individuals impart the basic attributes of adoration, peace and feeling of fellowship and collaboration. 

Here is a brief depiction of the social, religion and customs of every geological locale. 

Mountain locale 

Individuals:Sherpa,  Bhote, Tamang, Thakali, Gurung and so forth. 

Occupation: Animal husbandly and dairy cultivating. 

Sustenance:Rice,  Dhindo, Bread, Potato, Meat. 

Dress: Docha and Bakkhu. 

Religion: Buddhism. 

Celebration: Lhosar. 

Slope locale 

Individuals: Brahmin, Chhetri, Newar, Rai, Limbu, Magar, Tamang. 

Occupation: Agricultural and agriculture. 

Sustenance: Rice, Bread, Meat, Egg, Milk items. 

Dress: Cover and topi, daura-Suruwal, Bhoto-kachhad and Patuka for men, Cholo-Fariya majetro for ladies. 

Religion: Hinduism and Buddhism. 

Celebration: Tihar, Dashain,  Janai Purnima, Shiva-ratri and so forth. 

Terai Region 

Individuals:  Sunuwar, Dhimal, Danuwar, Rajpur, Sattar, Tharu and so forth. 

Occupation: Agriculture, Industry, Trade and Business 

Sustenance: Bread, Milk, Rice items 

Dress: Dhoti-Lungi, Kurta, Kamiz, , for men. Blouse, Sari for ladies. 

Religion: Hinduism and Islam 

Celebration:Hindus celebrates  Chhath, Raksha Bandhan, Holi, Diwali .Muslim celebrates Id, Bakhrid, Muharram.
